Andrew D. Deuell
Andrew D. Deuell, 64, contractor in the employ of Schaffer Stores Company, died in his home, 3 Furman street, Sunday of pneumonia, after an illness of one week. Mr. Deuell was born in Corinth and formerly lived in Amsterdam, and about 40 years ago came to this city to live. He was a member of the Carpenter's Union of Schenectady.
Besides his wife, Mary Remer Deuell, he leaves a son, Russell A., of this city and four daughters, Mrs. Arthur H. Tracy of Menands, Mrs. Walter Nicklas, Mrs. Floyd R. Hawes, and Mrs. Frederick Peasley; his mother, Mrs. Lucy C. Deuell of this city; a sister Mrs. John (Frances) Degraff of Amsterdam; a brother [John I. Deuell] in Detroit, five grandchildren, three nieces and three nephews of New York, Amsterdam and Syracuse.
The service will be private for the family and relatives only, Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at his late home. Reverend Robert W. Anthony of the First Presbyterian Church will conduct the service at the house and at the grave. Burial will be in the Albany Rural cemetery.
