Robert “Leo” Dressel, age 66 of Toledo, born July 4, 1950 to the late Leo and Georgianna Dressel, passed away on April 17, 2017.

Bob was an avid golfer, who loved fishing in Florida and traveling to Las Vegas with family and friends. He also enjoyed his time with his grandchildren, and his fur babies Berdan and Berkley. He retired in 2012 after serving his community for 25 years as a Toledo firefighter/paramedic.

Preceding Bob in death is his brother, Jeffery A. Dressel. Left behind to cherish his memory is his beautiful bride Lynn; children, Kelli Anne (Joe) Donbrosky, Robert (Andrea) Dressel Jr., Kasey (Joel) Calfee, Ryan Dressel, Desiree (John) Pryor and Melissa (Brian) Smith; 15 grandchildren and one on the way; siblings, Jean (Dan) Kerr, Charles (Shelley) Dressel, Tom (Miss Shirlene) Dressel and Gary (Marian) Dressel; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friendship of the Choir Boys for the last 40 years.

The family will receive guests on Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Last Alarm Services that evening time pending in the funeral home. Funeral Services will begin Monday, April 24, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until Noon. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

Monetary donations can be made, in his name, to the Toledo Firefighters Museum or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
