Betty Jane Schuck, age 86, born in and lifelong resident of Joliet, Educator and high school Biology Teacher at both Joliet Central and East High Schools, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017.

Betty was the daughter of late Esther (nee Barron) and Chester Fenn; sister to the late Dorothy deSomer; and sister to the late Donald Fenn. She was also proceeded in death by her loving husband, Herbert J. Schuck.

Betty is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Kathy, Matt and Gail; her four beloved grandchildren, Matt, Aaron, Beth, Eli; sisters-in-law Lola Hotard and Suzanne Fenn; and many nieces and nephews.

Betty was an active member of First Presbyterian Church, involved in various community groups and organizations and an avid gardener. She will be missed by her many friends and family.

A memorial service celebrating Betty's life will be held at a future date.
