One obit says she was buried in Oakdale Cemetery, but she was also cremated. Pioneer Business Woman in Deland, FL...affectionately known as "Aunt Edith," to her husband's family....on 18 Apr 2017 when I added her, she was not linked to any of her siblings or parents on Ancestry or FindAGrave. She was born right after the Canadian 1881 Census was taken, and doesn't show up until the Canadian 1891 Census. Every other child and their were 9 children were listed with full names and most information. Her parents were both dead when she married Franklin P. Hyde in Rochester, NY, in 1922, though both were residents of Deland, FL. Several siblings also relocated to Florida as well. She was next to youngest in birth order, and the last to survive her immediate family of origin. She graduated from Deland Academy (now Stetson University) in 1905 and she and a classmate started a gift shop. She was a pioneer business woman in Deland, Florida, and founded the Reeve's Gift Shop, later named the Reeve and Howard Gift Shop, and still known as that at her passing. From 1905 to 1929, it was located at the 100 Block of N. Woodland Boulevard. In 1929 it was relocated to 105 West Indiana Avenue, in Deland, Florida and as of 1996 was still doing business at that location.
