"Forsythe, Arlene E. age 88 of Canton passed away Saturday May 9, 2009 at Canton Christian Home where she had resided since 2005 after moving from the Aultman Home For Women. She was born in Holmes County, Ohio on March 28, 1921 to the late Cyrus and Myrtle (Bents) Domer. She was a beautician out of high school and worked at the Hoover Co. during World War II. She was a church financial secretary and member of First Church, and receptionist at the Red Cross office where she volunteered in disaster services. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Forsythe in 1976 and brother, Howard A. Domer. She is survived by her daughter... grandchildren... son-in- law... Also by her son... and grandchildren... Funeral services are Friday 11 AM in the Arnold Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to services (Friday 10-11 AM). Final resting place is Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Red Cross."
