Earp Lorenzo Prentiss Earp, age 83, born Sep 16, 1863, son of Augustus Arlis Earp, died Nov 11, 1946, at the home of his son Horace G. Earp, Ragon Courts, Fort Smith, Arkansas. ...funeral services on Tuesday at the Greer funeral home Chapel, Ozark Arkansas. Rev. Brady Cook and Rev. Dale Dickerson will officiate. Mr. Earp came to Ozark 75 years ago by steamboat before railroads went to Ozark. He was a member of the Methodist Church and made his home with his son since February. He is survived by two sons, H. G. Earp of Fort Smith and Walter W. Earp of Ozark; two daughters, Mrs. Charley Deniston, Fresno California and Mrs. Wallace Tweedy of Buttonville California; a brother, E. B. Earp of Ozark; three sisters, Mrs. John Campbell of Colorado, Mrs. Claud Smith, Ozark and another in Oklahoma. Burial in the Highland cemetery, Ozark, Franklin County, Arkansas under the direction of Ocker Funeral home, Van Buren Arkansas.
