Vera Troutt Necessary went home to heaven on April 9, 2017. Vera was born December 5th, 1936 in Monaville, Texas to Minnie Anna Bell Troutt and Robert K. Troutt. She was the youngest of seven children. Vera was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and loyal friend. She worked for Mosher Steel Company for 20 years before moving to Cleveland , Texas. After her move to the country she worked for First National Bank of Conroe for 10 years and then worked for Louisiana Pacific for 15 post retirement. She loved needlework and crafting and often attended craft fairs with friends. Vera was a superb cook and made a mean chocolate chip cookie, awesome rocky road fudge bars and her famous "Grammy Vera' cookies. Her integrity, steadfastness, and feistiness will be remembered by all who knew her. Vera is preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Necessary, and son Donald Lee Necessary. She is survived by daughter Donna Dee Porter and husband, Jeff; granddaughter Jenna Porter; daughter-in law Laura Necessary, brothers Lawrence and Bobby Troutt, sister June Cronwell and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the L3 Foundation 2211 Lake Gardens Dr., Kingwood, Texas 77339. Funeral service for Vera Troutt Necessary will be held at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas, on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior to service.
