PAMPA — Garland “Pete” Watts, 84, of Pampa died Monday, April 17, 2017.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Cornerstone Church in Wheeler with Pastor James Sinyard officiating. Burial will follow in Wheeler Cemetery. Arrangements are by Peppers Family Funeral Home of Wheeler.

Garland passed away Monday, April 17, 2017 in Pampa, TX.
Garland “Pete” Watts was born on June 2, 1932 in Wheeler, TX, to the late Mr. Richard Watts and Annie Mae (Hart) Watts. He was a graduate of Kelton High School.

Mr. Watts married Joann Eldredge on January 21, 1966 at Pampa, TX. She preceded him in death on July 11, 2004. He resided in Pampa, TX and worked as a plumber until his retirement

Garland was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Joann (Eldredge) Watts, son, Bobby Lee Watts, three brothers, Edwin Watts, Richard Watts, and Julian Watts,
and two sisters, Elmeda Elder, and Virginia Patterson.

Survivors include six sons, Louis Gene Watts of Comanche, Okla., Danny “Doc” Reed Jr. and Roy Reed Sr., both of Pampa, Roy Albert Watts of Amarillo, Terry Keith Watts of Tucson, Ariz., and Paul Stephen Watts of Carbondale, Ill.; five daughters, Carol Rae Looney of Ardmore, Okla., Rita Kimbrell, Shelly Reed Campbell and Micheal Ann Watts, all of Pampa, and Beverly Reed-Watts-Chinnery of Tulsa, Okla.; a brother, Kenneth “Dale” Watts of Liberty; a sister, Monte Fae Boyd of Pampa; 25 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
