Born October 7, 1927 in Minersville Pa, she was the daughter to the late Edwin J. and Ruth (Morgan) Swartz.
She attended Minersville High School, and later met her late husband of 57 years, Walter L. Barnhardt.
In her free time, she loved to do embroidery and crocheting, she also enjoyed reading a good book.
She preceded by her loving husband Walter, and her sister Adelaide Lord of Minersville.
She is survived by her two loving daughters Corinne McGinley and Mary L. Barnhardt both of Marysville; and one bother William Swartz of Smithfield VA.
A viewing will be held at the Hetrick-Bitner Funeral Home, 3125 Walnut St. Harrisburg Pa on Thursday April 20, from 1-2:00 PM followed by a Service. Interment will take place at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
