BANTA, William M. "Bill," 99, of Orlando, formerly of Tampa, died April 6, 2006. Bill was born in Cass County, Ind.,and proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by four brothers, one of which was J. Wimer Banta; and also his nephew, J.W. Banta Jr. Bill leaves his niece, Ruth Sumner, four great- nephews and two great-nieces to cherish the memories. Bill's later years were enriched by the loving attention and assistance by his great- nephew, Sheldon Sumner Jr.
