Maria was the loving mother of Philip J. Cota and his wife Tammie of NH and the late Anthony R. Cota Jr.
Adoring grandmother of two both of NH.
Daughter of the late Augustino "Gus" and Phyllis Filosi.
Oldest sister to John Filosi and his wife Margaret of Somerville, Phyllis Marciano and her husband Anthony of NH and Augustine "Gus" Filosi and his wife Dorothea "Dolly" of FL.
Maria was raised in Somerville, married her sweetheart Anthony and raised their two sons in Reading then North Reading.
She worked for many years in the Reading School system as a teacher and later retired from teaching to assist in the family funeral home with her husband and sons. Maria's greatest joy was her granddaughters. They were the daughters she never had.
She was an avid golfer and member of the Highland Greens Golf League at Hillview Country Club.
Interment in Riverside Cemetery, North Reading.
