George was born on July 22, 1940 in rural Jet to Albert Littrell and Edith Shaddy Littrell and passed from this life on April 7, 2017 in Alva. In 1959 he married Dixie and they had five children: Angela, Rhonda, Shelly, George and Clayton. Dixie passed from this life in 1993. George then married Jo Case in 1994. George liked to work and was a “jack of all trades.” After George went to the nursing home, he liked to color and draw. He also enjoyed doing biblical searches. George had a first degree black belt in taekwondo. Some of his pastimes at home included yard work and going to bingo.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Albert Pete; sister, Wanda Goings and his twin infant siblings.

Survivors include Jo, his wife of twenty-three years; five children, Angela Jacobson and husband, Brian, Rhonda Howland, Shelly Jackson and husband, Kevin, George Littrell, Jr., Clayton Littrell and wife, Connie; step-daughters, Angela Brannon and husband, Bruce and Anita Rubrecht and husband, Rick; four brothers, Jack, Ray, Faye and Bill Littrell; sisters, Barbara Kletke, Norma Hufford, Peggy VanMeter and Alberta Littrell; sixteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

Funeral service for George will be Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Aline United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Carmen Cemetery. Viewing will be Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with the family present from 5:00 until 7:00. Memorials may be given to the funeral home on behalf of the family.
