Angelina Mary Russo Brougham passed away peacefully on Friday, Sept 9, 2016. She touched many lives with her sweet, gentle spirit and her strength to carry on through many obstacles.
Angelina was born in Pittsburg and graduated from Pittsburg High School. After graduating high school, she was hired at Pacific Bell and had a 30 year career as a Telephone Operator. In 1949, she was introduced to her future husband on a blind date. It was love at first sight and they were married in 1950. They were married for 50 years, until his passing in 2000. They had 3 children. In recent years, she moved to Nevada City, California with her daughter, where she enjoyed going to church, art classes, visiting with therapy dogs, and enjoying happy hour on Friday with live music.
Angelina was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Brougham.
She is survived by her loving children and 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She also has 2 grand-dogs (as she called them) who will miss her greatly. Her loving spirit and beautiful smile will be missed forever.
Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch.
