FORT ASHBY, W.Va. — Elmira (Weakland) Bohrer, 93, of Fort Ashby, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, at Sacred Heart Hospital. Born Feb. 28, 1911, in Fort Ashby, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Homer and Elizabeth (Brown) Weakland. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd William Bohrer in 1987; and her sister, Marjorie Wagoner. Mrs. Bohrer had been a clerk with the U.S. Government. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. She is survived by a niece, Marsha Kesner, Romney; and several great-nephews and nieces, including Charles Kesner and Carolyn Kesner, both of Fort Ashby. Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, Fort Ashby, on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. only. The funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home, Monday at 1 p.m. with the Rev.
