She was born on September 13, 1934 to Walter and Dixie Galloway in Spokane Washington. She graduated from North Central High School in 1952 and then worked as a telephone operator. She married her husband Louie Marrazzo on May 18, 1957, and she continued working until her first son Anthony was born in 1958, when she became a stay at home mom. Four years later she had a daughter, Theresa. Her favorite activities were gardening, fishing at Priest Lake and Lake Kookanusa in the summer, snowmobiling with friends in the winter, and later in life - reading romance novels and doing cross stitch. She was also an avid Seahawk, Mariner, WSU and Zags fan as well, something her and her husband Louie loved watching together.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of nearly 59 years Louie, her brother Warren Galloway, her parents Walter Galloway, Dixie Heath and step-father Edwin Heath. She is survived by her son Anthony and daughter Theresa; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at the Sunset Mausoleum on Thursday, April 13 at 10 a.m. The family would like to extend a very special thanks to Hospice of Spokane, her VNA nurse Ingrid who cared for her for over two years, and the staff at Aspen Quality Care, where she spent the last year of her life. Their loving staff took wonderful care of her and we will be eternally grateful for the way they treated her like family.
