Shirley R. Unangst, 85, of Kintnersville, died Sunday, April 9, 2017 at her residence. She is married to Edward A. Unangst, Jr. She was born in Northampton on April 21, 1931 to the late Earl and Verna (Heffelfinger) Kromer.
Shirley graduated from Haff Hospital, Northampton with a nursing degree. She was a wonderful nurse, volunteer and restaurant owner through her years; but most importantly she was a woman of faith who was loving, strong and an incredible mother and grandmother.
Survivors: Loving Daughter: Andrea L. (Gary L.) Adams, with whom she resided; 2 grandchildren: Tasia and Trey.
Services: Private service Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street - Hellertown. The interment will conclude services at Durham Cemetery, Durham.
