Thelma married William F. Miller on December 23, 1950 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fremont, OH. Bill preceded her in death on August 11, 2000. She worked at Howard Zinc’s until she was married and then became a homemaker.
Thelma was a charter and very active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she was involved with the Rosary Altar Society, Blessed Sacrament Confraternity, the school cafeteria and the parish festival. She also enjoyed gardening, birds, cooking, playing cards and being around children.
Thelma is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Andrews, Clyde and Ruth (Gordon) Keck, Fremont; sisters, Rosalie (Norm) Neeb, Helena and Mary Ann Sanchez, Tiffin; grandchildren, Natalie Andrews, Lindsey Keck, William (Jennifer) Miller, Rick Thompson, Jeremy (Mandy) Thompson, Sharee (Chris) Olsen, Joely (Mike) Beeker, Jim (Jacki) Andrews and Jennifer Andrews and many great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Miller; son, Robert (Sandy) Miller; son-in-law, Mike Andrews; siblings, Vincent, Ira, Vernis Haubert, Victoria Schoch, Dolores Etzwiler, two infant sisters and great grandchildren, Karley Thompson and Jacob “Bubba” Andrews.
Visitation: Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home & Crematory, 425 E. State St., Fremont, OH with a vigil service at 7:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial: Wednesday, November 2, 2016; 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 550 Smith Rd., Fremont, OH with an hour of visitation prior to mass at the church.
Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery, Fremont.
