Amy Atkins(Higgins) Buckley's lineage can, through both of her parents, be traced back to many of the earliest settlers of Plymouth Colony, including Stephen Hopkins and Thomas Rogers of the Mayflower. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution on the service of two patriot ancestors (Solomon Cook and Reuben Bates) and her son later joined the Sons of the American Revolution on the service of ancestor Ebenezer Higgins. MA Death Records, Hingham 1954:50:315; Interment: 3 Mar 1954.
