James Leslie, 92, a resident of North Port, died in Florida. He had worked for the Federal Government as a Production Engineer. His last assignment was with the Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. His work allowed him to travel all over the world. He was a member of the St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Yacht Club, Right Angle Club, all of North Port. James was a fifty-year member of the Masonic Lodge #321 and the B. P. O. E. #2632. He was also a member of the Quarter Century Club of Wright Patterson Air Force Base, the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, Ohio, the U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Past Commander of Flotilla #92 and the Sahib Shrine Temple in Sarasota. Survivors include his wife, Jean Massey Dunaway, a step-daughter, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church and burial to follow in Gulf Pines Cemetery in Englewood.
