Betty Lue Allen, 75, French Lick, formerly of Birdseye, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2007, at 4:45 p.m. at Medco Center in French Lick.
Born Aug. 19, 1931, in Portersville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Opha Neukam.
She was a homemaker and attended New Hope Baptist Church in Birdseye.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Allen, and a son, Stanley.
Survivors include her children, Randall Allen and Marsha Hughes, both of Birdseye, and Roberta Altmeyer of Washington; a sister, Carolyn Summers of Birdseye; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation: Monday, Feb. 5, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Feb. 6, after 9 a.m. at Denbo Funeral Home in English.
Funeral: Tuesday, Feb. 6, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Patoka Memorial Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Charles Crews.
