5th child: Col James Lomax, Jr, was born May 5, 1787 and died Sept 18, 1835.
He married Matilda Hargrave in 1813. He represented Abbeville County in the State Legislature.
Both are buried in “Lucy Graveyard” west of Hodges.

1 - William James Lomax was born in the family home near the present town of Hodges on Dec 2, 1817
2 - Lucien Hargrave Lomax was born Dec 2, 1819 near Hodges
3 - Dr Warren George Lomax born in the family home near the present town of Hodges on Dec 25, 1824
4 - Joseph Lomax who died young.
He represented Abbeville County in the State Legislature.
