Funeral services were held May 1, 2001 for Dortha Wilson 77, of Liberty, Tn. at Dekalb Funeral Chapel. Burial followed in Ervin Family Cemetery.

Mrs. Wilson died April 29, in Centennial Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband Buren B. 'Pete' Wilson, Jr., and a daughter Sherrie Cantrell.
Her parents,Thomas Jefferson(Tom) Atnip and Lillie M. Moore Atnip.

A homemaker, she was a member of Peoples's Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by five daughters and son-in-law's, Judy (Wayne) Copeland of Morrison,Wanda (Robert) Day of Georgia,Jackie (Bruce) Carter of Murfreesboro, Ola (Michael) Shadburn of Georgia; two sons, Glenn(Shandi) Wilson and Kirk(Sherril) Wilson of Liberty; a half brother Jack Atnip of Smithville. 21 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jimmy B. Jones,Shannon Cobble, Chuck Reynolds, Robert Reynolds, Glenn Wilson Jr. and Shane Capps.
Honorary pallbearers Teddy Atnip, Freddy Atnip, Ricky Atnip and Michael Atnip.

Dekalb Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
