She was born in Shenandoah, a daughter of the late Joseph and Frances "Mruk" Buckley.
She worked in strategic services for 51 years for the Phillips-Van Heusen Co.
She attended St. Stanislaus Parochial School, Shenandoah, and was graduate of Shenandoah Catholic High School. She was devoted to her extended family, affectionately known as Cioci. Mary Ann was also very giving and charitable to many organizations.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Bokuniewicz.
Mary Ann is survived by a sister, Barbara Staskel with her husband, Rob, New York; a nephew, Robert Staskel with Adrienne, New York; cousins.
Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Monday from Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc., 40 N. Jardin St., Shenandoah. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in Divine Mercy Parish, Sacred Worship Site, St. Casimir Church, with Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian officiating. Interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. A visitation will take place from 8 to 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Contributions in Mary Ann's memory may be made to CHOP "Children's Hospital of Philadelphia," 3401 Civic Center Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19104. Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc., Shenandoah, is in charge of arrangements.
