Mr. Blachly was born August 22, 1916, in Kalispell where he received his education. He then moved to the West Coast where he had spent his entire life as a cook and had recently returned to Kalispell where he was chef at Orly's.
Mr. Blachly had been hospitalized for the past week in Seattle.
He is survived by three brothers, Ernest in Texas, Paul of Yakima, and Arnold of Houston, Texas; one sister Mrs. Helen Davis of Kalispell.
