FENTON, Nancy Mary - 84, Kingston, Kings Co., passed away July 31, 2005, in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in North Battleford, Sask. in 1920, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Minnie (Piggott) Leech. She served in India along with her husband with the Canadian Baptist Overseas Mission Board from 1963-1969, and for the next five years she and her late husband Ed toured across Canada with an educational display known as the India Caravan. In later years they set up a small museum type of display in their home in Auburn for people to enjoy. She was a former member of the Aylesford United Baptist Church and had been the church organist for a number of years. She was a member of the Kingston United Baptist Church, as well as a Dominion Life Member of the Baptist Women's Mission Union of Canada. She enjoyed music and working with crafts. Surviving are two nieces and two nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Emroe "Ed" in 1987; daughters, Noreen and Shirley; one son in infancy, and her sister, Betty Pernala. Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, with the funeral service at 2 p.m., both in Kingston United Baptist Church, Rev. Leon Langille officiating with a reception to follow in the church hall. Burial in Aylesford Union Cemetery.
