MISS JANE LOUTHAN OF ARCOLA PASSES AWAY

Arcola, Ill., Jan. 23. — Miss Jane Amanda Louthan died at the home of her brother, J. H. Louthan, Saturday following an illness of several weeks due to frailties of age.

The funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon. Burial was in the Arcola cemetery.

Miss Louthan was born at Middletown, Ohio, May 20, 1846. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James H. Louthan and came with her parents to Douglas county at the age of eight years. For the past seventy-five years she lived the greater part of the time in Arcola. During the past few years she has made her home with her brother, J. H. Louthan, the only remaining member of that family. Her sister, Miss Ann Louthan, died in Arcola in 1925.
