Olive E. Cummins, 82, formerly of Greensburg, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 1999, at Caroleton Manor Nursing Home.
Born Dec. 25, 1916, in Brookville, she was the daughter of Oliver and Elizabeth (Baudendistal) Boughner. She married Wilbur H. Cummins March 31, 1936, in Brookville, and he preceded her in death April 18, 1999.
She lived in Brookville for many years and also lived in Greensburg, Palo Alto, Calif., Denver, Colo. and Interlochen, Fla. She was a homemaker and for 15 years managed an apartment.
Survivors include one daughter, Betty (Mrs. Marvin) Haynes of Connersville; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert L. and Lucy Cummins of Connersville; two brothers, Bill Boughner of Connersville and Francis Boughner of Richmond; one sister, Margaret Gill of Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one infant son, Billy; four brothers, John, Marion, Paul, and Tom Boughner; one sister, Helen Dollar.
Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Thursday at Urban-Winkler Funeral Home in Connersville.
Burial is in Dale Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
