FORMER ARCOLAN DIES IN PESOTUM
Arcola, Ill., Dec. 24. — David M. Louthan, a former Arcola resident, died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mitzendorfer at Pesotum on Thursday after a several months' illness.
The body was brought to Arcola, where funeral services were held in the Methodist Church Saturday afternoon, Rev. A. C. Adams officiating.
Mr. Louthan, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Louthan of Arcola, was born February 8, 1877, in Arcola. He lived here until 1913, when he went to Pesotum, where he followed his trade as a carpenter. He was a member of carpenters' union No. 44 of Champaign. During the past four years he had made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Mitzendorfer, who cared for him in his last illness. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Walter Louthan, of Sheldon, Iowa, and one brother, John Louthan, of Urbana.
