Curtis S. Akin, 76, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, October 27, 1999 at Medco Nursing Center in Campbellsville. Son of the late Lonnie Akin & Minnie Georgeann Blevins Akin, he was born on November 13, 1922 in Green Co., KY, and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. He was married to Audrey Pickett on January 24, 1942, who survives. Other survivors include 4 daughters, Carolyn Loyall of Summersville, Brenda Sue Luttrell of Casey County, Connie Lou Henderson of Summersville, and Kathy Compton of Greensburg; 1 brother and 4 sisters, Woodson Akin, Evie Gardner, Maudie Pierce, Louise Pickett and Marie Thompson, all of Greensburg; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by 1 grandson, Timmy Tucker in 1981.
