Edythe B. Leuchtenberg, 81, of 101 E MacArthur St. Bloomington, who with her husband operated free picture shows around McLean County from 1939 to 1944, died at 4 p.m. yesterday at her home.

Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Carmody- Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington, and at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, the Rev. Glenn H. Harris officiating.

Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Merna. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the rosary recited at 7 p.m.

She was born Oct. 2, 1911, at Arrowsmith, the daughter of Thomas and Myrtle Ertle Shoemaker. She married Maurice Francis Leuchtenberg Feb. 2, 1931, at Merna. He died March 5, 1973.

Survivors include two sons, Wayne F., Galesburg, and Robert Lee, Sheffield; two daughters, Rita D. Toohill, LeRoy, and Marietta Catherine Peve, Walnut; one brother, Donald Shoemaker, Downs; one sister, Florence Lesher, Gibson City; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Two brothers, eight sisters and three grandchildren preceded her in death.

The Leuchtenbergs owned and operated a greenhouse in Sheffield from 1960 until 1975. They had a gladiola garden in Bloomington for several years.
