CHARLES BRICE, III
Charlie was born on September 8, 1938 in Wilmington, Delaware to his parents Charles and Mary (Rambo) Brice II. He passed away on January 18, 2017 in Fort Myers, FL at his home at the age of 78.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Joanne Brice; children Bette (Darrell) Brasure, Shane Meeds Brice, Jennifer Jane Brice, and Jessica Jill (Matthew) Holding; step children Debra (Christopher) Benham, Kimberly Taylor, and Lauren (David) Patrick; grandchildren Jenna, Terra, Shana, Austen, and Trystan; great grandchildren Alexis, Kowen; step grandchildren Melissa, Stephanie, Christopher, Amanda, and Nicole; step great grandchildren Ayden, Hailey, Mason, Emelia, and Delaney; and many extended family and friends who will miss him dearly, especially the many friends from Corvettes of Naples. They are truly a second family to Charlie & Joanne. Charlie is preceded in death by one of his twin daughters Cheryl Brice Moore, his parents and his stepfather, Thomas Fischetti.

Charlie served with pride in the United States Marine Corps for nearly twenty-seven years, both active duty and reserve. He enjoyed many different aspects of military life including serving as escort to Cardinal Spellman, training snipers at Quantico for duty in Vietnam, Military Police, and Chief of the Motor Pool at Philadelphia Navy Yard. Upon retirement from the USMC, he worked eighteen years for Delaware Department of Corrections and one year for Family Court of Delaware.

Friends may visit at McCrery & Harra Funeral Home, 3710 Kirkwood Highway Wilmington, DE on Thursday, April 6 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A brief service will follow at 8pm. Burial will be held at Delaware Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Bear, DE on Friday, April 7 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel with military honors.
