Martha Kobylak, 77, of Johnson City died unexpectedly at her home Thursday, January 22, 2004. She was predeceased by parents, Alex and Eva (Misko) Artim; two brothers, John and Peter Artim; and two sisters, Sarah Artim and Helen Skasko. She is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, John S. Kobylak, Johnson City; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert Kobylak, Gaston, S.C., James Kobylak, Rochester, N.Y., William and Kathleen Kobylak, Balston Spa, N.Y.; three grandchildren, Caitlin and Anna Kobylak, Balston Spa, N.Y., and Dawn England, Bangor, Maine; four sisters, Anna Zwanch, Carbondale, Pa., Mary Varsik, Rutherford, N.J., Tillie Began, Binghamton, and Lillian Young, Manheim, Pa.; and several nephews and nieces. Martha was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Binghamton and was a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale, Pa.
