Mona Mae Loftis was born March 27, 1910 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of Henry Stanton Loftis and Sarah Francis Cline Loftis.
She married Monroe Abney and worked as a caretaker and at a nursing home. She was a member of Bible Chapel. She had moved from Hartford, Arkansas to Seminole in 1946.
Her parents and her husband preceded her in death.
She is survived by her brother, Curtis Marvin Loftis, of the home, three sisters, Alta Hatchell and Opal Howard, both of Seminole and Virginia Rush of Moore and many other relatives.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole. The Rev. Leon Heffley will officiate.
