Jay Denslow, 75, Rt. 1, Weidman, died Tuesday, Oct. 13, at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. He was born Aug. 6, 1895 in Sherman Township, Isabella County and was a lifelong resident.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the Oddfellows of Weidman.
He is survived by his wife Opal; two daughters, Mrs. Julia May Dunn, Coldwater Lake and Mrs. Verma Platek, Lake; three sons, Jay Jr., Lakeview, Berl, Weidman and Willis Hammond, Lansing; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, Oct. 16, at 2 p.m. from the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton, the Rev. Marvin Eldridge officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery near Weidman.
