George Francis Sturtevant, 70, east Kansas City, died Dec. 3, 1993, at Research Medical Center. Cremation. Mr. Sturtevant was born in Pasadena, Calif., and moved to this area in 1937. He was a truck driver for Mid-American Freight Lines for 35 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of Local 41 of the Teamsters union. He was a Eagle Boy Scout. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Tessie Sturtevant of the home; two foster daug hters, Roselinda Bender, Independence, and Carla Dalton, Kansas City; a sister, Joy Swanders, Chicago; and three foster granddaughters.
