While growing up, Lillian enjoyed time spent on the family farm in the Chilton area. Lillian volunteered at schools, most notably in Racine, where she helped as a foster grandparent tutoring children in their studies and reading.
Family was paramount to Lillian; she adored her husband, treasured her children, and never wanted to be far from her grandchildren so she could be with them, and help raise them into the fine individuals they are. It was this devotion to family that led Lillian from move to move around the state of Wisconsin, from Milwaukee to Madison to Racine and eventually Fond du Lac, just so she could remain close to those she loved.
In her free time, Lillian enjoyed working on word searches, doing crafts, and going out to eat to share food and fellowship with family and friends. She also enjoyed going on short trips out of town to be out and about.
Above all of the blessings in her life, Lillian cherished the faith God freely gave to her in her baptism. She took her faith very seriously and was spiritually nourished daily through devotions and daily Bible reading and listening to Christian music. It was this a deep faith which was poured out into the lives of those around her. She lived her faith. Her care for other was considerable and she would always go out of her way to help other who needed it without concern or prejudice of who you were or where you may have come from. Lillian was a shining example of what it meant to care for others and to be a loving member of a family.
Survivors include her children: Mason (Jacki) Miron of Madison, Lennell Miron of Madison; 5 grandchildren: Bryan Sauer, Bradly (Katie) Sauer, Jenni Sauer and her special friend, Paul Hanson, Jason (Becky) Sauer, Ryan Miron; 5 great-grandchildren; and her brothers: Clyde Stephenson & David (Carol) Stephenson.
