Mary J. Schwartz, 92, of Roeland Park, died April 3rd at Bethany Medical Center. She was born in Kansas City, Kansas, and lived near Bucyrus, Kansas, from 1921 until she returned to the Kansas City area in 1951. Mrs. Schwartz was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and was a former member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Wea, Kansas, and its Altar Society. She was the widow of Joseph M. Schwartz. Her brother, Leo Frick, died April 2nd.

Mrs. Schwartz was survived by a son, Joseph R. Schwartz, of Bucyrus; three daughters, Mary Frances Carter of Kansas City, Kansas, Josephine Greving of Overland Park and Rita Bernardi of Kansas City; 20 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

Friends called on Wednesday evening at the Runyan Chapel in Louisburg, Kansas, where the Rosary was said later that night. Services were held on Thursday morning at Holy Rosary Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
