Harry T. Nagle, 77, of 917 Patton Ave., died last night in the Community General Hospital.
The son of the late Peter and Sarah (Troxel) Nagle, he was employed as an ambulance driver for the Junior Fire Co. for the past 16 years.
Nagle was a member of the United Church of Christ, the Fire Drivers' Assn., Berks County Firemen's Relief and the Junior Fire Co. Home Assn.
He is survived by his widow, Mary M. (Boyer) Nagle; the following children: Grace M., wife of Edgar J. Swarmer, Birdsboro; June M., wife of Leonard W. Steely, of Laureldale; Earl R., Mabel, Kathy, wife of Russell Heebner, Mrs. Mabel Hohl, Florence, wife of Charles Hafer, and Ruth, all of Reading; Lt. Col. Harry C. Nagle, of Fort Monroe, Va., and a stepson Russell A. Frederick, of Reading; one brother, Charles of Reading; 29 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in the Calvin E. Seidel and Sons Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Daniel J. Wetzel officiating. Burial will be made in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
