Mary "Polly" Pitzer was the wife of James Alberry/Albery. She was his 2nd wife. The Will of her mother, Elizabeth Pitzer, written 25 May 1798, proven 22 June 1798, Will Bk A, 1787-1825, Allegany County, Maryland; Admin. Accounts, Book A, 1792-1825: Elizabeth Pitzer names her dau. Mary, wife of James Albery. [James Alberry's 1st wife was Anna (Peters) Myers, widow of Peter Myers, ,Sr. Anna (Peters) Myers, wife of James Alberry is buried in Beard-Green Cemetery, Jacksontown, Licking Co., Ohio.

According to my grandmother Grace May Allbery Houghland, she mentioned John had two wives back then as a polygamist.??
