Eva Mae was born in Marshall County to Isaac and Selema Morton Mardis. She married James Rector (Buck) Adams 21 September 1940 in Blount County, Alabama. Buck died 24 February 2008. They have four sons.
Mrs. Adams loved her family and was a great home maker. Her favorite things were cooking, cross stitching, quilting and sewing for her family. She loved to go to church and attended New Prospect Baptist Church faithfully. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
Mrs. Adams is preceded in death by her husband, James Rector Adams, her grandson, Greg Adams; her parents, Isaac and Selema (Morton) Mardis; her daughter in law, Gail Adams; her brothers, Howard Mardis, John Waid Mardis, and Huley Mardis; her sisters, Teresa French and Reba Smith.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 1:00 P.M., at The Chapel of the Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
