George H. Benoit, 68, of 808 Fon Clair Street, died at 1:10 yesterday afternoon at his home. He had been ill for the past nine and one-half months. He was born Nov 27, 1894 at Millau, France, son of Neuima and Marie Segui Benoit. In 1903 he emigrated to Montreal, Can., where he resided two years. He then moved to Johnstown, where he had resided since that time. He worked for a number of years as a table cutter. He retired in 1962 after working for 17 years as a deerskin grader. His last place of employment was Menkes Fur Inc., Gloversville. The survivors, in addition to his wife, Mrs. Eleanor F. Benoit, are two sisters, Mrs. Jacob W.
