Obituary

Alma Nadine Beatty, 85, of Yakima, died Friday, March 24, 2017 at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.

Alma was born in Boswell, Oklahoma on March 16, 1932 to Jess and May (Middleton) Shaw. She later married Russell Beatty on July 16, 1954 in Merced, California. Alma was a member of the Christian Life Center in Stockton, California for over thirty years before moving to Yakima and attending Christian Life Center in town the last five years.

Alma is survived by her daughters, Cherryle Nelson (Dale) and Rhonda Beatty both of Yakima; two grandchildren, Sheila Modine (Gary) and Brian Nelson; three great grandchildren, Caitlin, Brenna, and Andrew and two sisters, Eva Sanders of Lynden, WA and Josie Harding of Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Russell Beatty as well as her parents, Jess and May Shaw.
