Mrs. Nathan B. Tate, 78, died at 11:50 a. m. Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bailey Jackson, in Lebanon. Mrs. Tate was the former Dora Cope, daughter of the late Andrew and Emma Cope of near Rogersville, Tenn. Her husband died in March, 1950. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. George Ben Whited and Mrs. Jackson, Lebanon, and Mrs. Cora Dickenson and Mrs. Russell Dickenson, Hansonville; one sister, Miss Cordie Cope, Lee Valley, Va., and two brothers, Clay Cope, Lee Valley, and Carl H. Cope, Russellville, Tennessee, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Thursday (today) at the home of Mrs. Bailey Jackson, conducted by the Rev. R. C. Bailey, assisted by Rev. L. G. Herndon. Burial will be in Temple Hill Cemetery, Castlewood. The body was removed at 10 p. m. Wednesday to the Jackson residence from the Finney-Easterly-Finney Funeral Home.
