Lillian Grace Marde Anderson, age 98, of Sac City, IA, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Park View Rehabilitation Center in Sac City, IA. Lillian was born on December 21, 1918, in Knoke, IA to parents Henry and Anna (Doyen) Wiese. She attended country school in her hometown.

On May 3, 1941, Lillian was united in marriage to Clarence Joseph Anderson. This union was blessed with a daughter, Karen.

Lillian was a homemaker who enjoyed helping Clarence on their farm. She loved cooking, gardening and taking care of her family. Visiting with her friends and neighbors brought her great joy and she always loved sharing her delicious food and baked goods with everyone she welcomed into her home. Lillian was a devout Christian and member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sac City.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Karen Logan Shomes of South Hadley, MA; granddaughter Sarah Anne Jasinski of Belchertown, MA; and a loving friend Linda Lorenzan of Sac City, IA.

Lillian is preceded in death by her husband Clarence Anderson; nine brothers and sisters and her parents.
