Beverly Ann Grigsby Spalding, age 75, of Springfield, passed away at 1:58 p.m., Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville. A native of Washington County, she was born on February 23, 1942 to the late Roy and Pearl McCauley Grigsby. She was a member of the New Birth Mission and a former employee of Springfield Products, Inc. Preceding her in death were three brothers Billy Grigsby, Wayne Washburn and Eddie Washburn.

Survivors include: two sons, Ricky Spalding (Kathy) and Paul Allen Spalding (Rachel) of Springfield: four grandchildren, Joey (Jackie), Renee Balnd (Michael), Waylon Spalding and Sidney Spalding; four great-grandchildren, Bailey Spalding, Lydia Grace Spalding, Caroline Spalding and Sadie Bland; her stepmother, Jean Grigsby of Springfield; two sisters, Betty Weakley of Mooresville and Deloris Smith (Kenny) of Springfield; and three brothers, Calvin Grigsby (Alice) of Mt. Washington, Roy Grigsby, Jr. (Celeste) of Springfield and Larry Washburn (Phyllis) of Chaplin.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Nelson Reynolds, officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Wednesday morning at the Carey & Son Funeral Home.
