SCOTT CITY (Special) — Mrs. Archie Holder of Scott City died Saturday morning at her home. She was 62 years old.
The former Miss Ada Mae Rainey was born Oct. 25, 1913, at Flat River. She was married to Mr. Holder in April of 1936. Mrs. Holder was a life-long resident of Scott City and a member of the Wesleyan Church in Scott City.
Surviving: her husband; sons, Jack Holder of Illmo, Norman and Kenneth Holder, both of Scott City; brothers, Norman E. Rainey of Illmo and William A. Rainey of Cool Valley; sisters, Mrs. Richard Moeder of Cape Girardeau and Miss Virginia Rainey of Scott City, and ten grandchildren.
Service will be held Monday afternoon at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City, with the Rev. R. C. Stephens, pastor of the Wesleyan Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Lightner Cemetery.
