Linda passed away at her home under care of Aspen Home Health and Hospice. She grew up in Idaho Falls, attended Ammon Elementary, O.E. Bell Junior High and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. She also attended University of Utah majoring in music. On September 16, 1960, she married Don Peck Packer in the Logan Temple. They had six children and had lived in Sugar City, Rexburg, Rigby and most recently in Idaho Falls. Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who served faithfully in many callings. She served in the Idaho Falls Temple as an ordinance worker. She excelled in music, played the piano and organ, and participated in many community music productions. She was the ward organist in every ward she was in since she was 12 years old. Linda enjoyed reading; especially the scriptures, classics, and mysteries. She excelled in homemaking and caring for her family. Survivors beside Don included: children Scott M. (Robin) Packer of Twin Falls, Paul M. (Darlean) Packer of Idaho Falls, Lorraine (Tracy) Bradley of Idaho Falls, Heather (Shawn) Stolworthy of Firth, Renee (Chris) Tucker of St. Anthony and Jesse M. (Ashley) Packer of Rigby, ID; sisters Sherry Marlana (Dane) Watkins of Idaho Falls and Jan Lorraine (Steve) Holtom of Idaho Falls, ID; 21 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Preceding was grandson Michael Scott Packer. Services held March 31st at Idaho Falls LDS Lincoln 3rd Ward, 2545 Mesa Street. Bro. Dave Herrin officiated
