Mr. Jerry D. Ross, Sr. age 67, passed away January 5, 2015 in Sloansburg, NY. The Family will receive friends at a catered reception Friday, January 9, 2015 from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm at National Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS. A second visitation will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm followed by the service at 3:00 pm at National Funeral Home. Interment will be Lambert Cemetery.
Mr. Ross, a truck driver for Total Transportation of Olive Branch, MS, was a member of West Drew Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Floy Jean Ross of Fulton, MS; his daughter Gwen (Kenneth) Black of Fort Eustis, VA; and his son Jerry D. (Amanda) Ross, Jr. of Fulton, MS. Three Grandchildren also survive Mr. Ross -Cheyenne Ross of Fulton, MS, Cordale Ross of Fulton, MS and Courtney Black of Fort Eustis, VA. Mr. Ross was preceded in death by daughter Stephaine Ross; his parents Hurshel and Elva Ross; his birth mother Beulah Johnson and his sister Yvonne Goodwin and brother Hurshel Elza Ross.
