Medina Co. Gazette: Mrs. Ella D. Bigler, 81, died Monday morning at her home in Seville, after a short illness. A native of Monroe county, she lived in Bellaire and in Rittman for eight years before moving to Seville, 14 years. She was the oldest charter member of the Rittman Church of Christ. Her husband, Emil E., died in 1950. Mrs. Bigler leaves three sons, Walter of Bellaire, Harold of Rittman and Eugene of Wadsworth; one step-son, Earl of Creston; six daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Helms, Mrs. Irene Lendon and Mrs. Hilda Sprowl of Rittman, Mrs. Viola Baker of Ravenna, Mrs. Ethel Evans of Seville and Mrs. Inez Lendon of Wadsworth. Also, one brother, J. C. McCoy of Shadyside, O; two sisters, Mrs. Nora Kinder and Mrs. Norma Rauschenburger of Bellaire; 32 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
