Goldia M. Reed, 85, formerly of Newport, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 in Lincolnton, North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her husband , Hollis Reed, an infant son, parents, Bill and Sally Henry, and brother, Ruble Henry.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Hilario) Caballero; son, David (Karen) Reed; brother, Sanford Henry; sisters, Maxie Williams and Betty Jo Kilday; grandchildren, Jessica Allison, and Amanda (Bobby) Boyer; great grandchildren, Juan Miguel Jimenez, Houston Allison, Javier Jimenez, Selena Jimenez, Amanda Jimenez, and Aaron Boyer, a great great grandson, Balyn Allison, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 1:00pm with Pastor Ronald Bunch officiating. Burial will follow in the New Home Cemetery.
